This poor guy looks like he had a few too many candy chocolate eggs. Or one really big one.

The bunny and egg (minus the background) are meant to be printed at CafePress, so that's why the shadow doesn't follow the contour of the background.

Also notice that the background stripes cause a visual effect on the side of the egg, making it appear rippled. The edge of the egg appears smooth on a solid background.
